Lee Markley was born and raised in the Tidewater area of Virginia and has been riding horses for over 30 years. She spent a number of years working as a guide conducting tours on horseback through the trails and mountains of Wyoming’s great national parks and wilderness areas. An experienced rider and instructor, Lee understands the needs of both the horse and the owner when it comes to comfortably and lovingly sheltering our equine friends. Deep Creek Stables was built according to Lee’s vision as a rider, instructor and horse lover.
